T-Mobile Project 10Million is an education-focused connectivity initiative created to help reduce the digital divide for students. T-Mobile says the program and related initiatives have connected more than 6.7 million K-12 students.
What Do Eligible Students Get?

- Free data for up to five years.
- One free mobile hotspot per household.
- No annual fees for the free program.
- No annual re-certification after acceptance.
- An optional 10GB, 30-day data pass for $10 after the annual free allotment is used.
Who Is Eligible?
T-Mobile’s current consumer program says a K-12 student can qualify through one of these programs:
- National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or EBT
- Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
- Medicaid
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
Do You Need to Be a T-Mobile Customer?
No. T-Mobile says the program is open to eligible students even if the household does not already use T-Mobile.
Where Is It Available?
T-Mobile says the consumer program is available to eligible students in the United States and Puerto Rico, but currently does not serve Alaska, American Samoa, Guam, or the Northern Mariana Islands. Coverage and program capacity may also limit availability.
